WTAE Weather Kid

Back in the summer of 2010 when I was 10 years old, I was in the Amish Country in Ohio with my family. While we were there a storm started. We went to a shopping area and got out of the car and right above us, two funnel clouds were forming! A guy in the antique store was yelling at us..."TORNADO"!! We ran into his store, I ran to the back of the store and crouched down covering my head like I had been taught. Once the tornado passed, we walked outside and the leather store right next to us was demolished. After that experience I became fascinated with "weather".

In the fall of 2010 I had the opportunity to be one of WATE's Weather Kids! I got to tour the station, and film a "Weather Fun Fact" that was aired multiple times on WTAE! Below is a picture from that experience!
